I was ripped off by Fred Joseph at US Record Search, who does business by several different company names. He said that he would deliver asset search results to me and to my attorney within 3-15 days. After 4 months, he has delivered nothing and refuses to give a refund of the $190.00 I pre-paid to him by personal check. I have filed a small claims court action in my own state in order to get a refund. I'll update readers if I get a result.
