It worked! Transfer America got rid of our timeshare.

Pros:
- It worked!
- They thoroughly explained the process at the presentation and why it costs what it does.
Cons:
- It's expensive (multiply your maintenance/tax fee by about 5 or 6 for an approximate cost).
- It took about 4 - 5 months to get the official paperwork proving that we no longer owned it.
It to have to pay money to get rid of something you paid a lot of money for in the first place, but trust me, the freedom is worth it! This is the first year we didn't get our dreaded tax & maintenance fee bill. We got scammed twice before by companies that were supposedly going to sell it for us, so we were really nervous going into it, but we are officially timeshare free.
