Conveniently located next door to Smart & Final in Inglewood, We moved in fall 09, should have paid attention to the broken gates, falling down rain gutters and paint. Termite damage throughout the bldg etc etc etc. But we liked the Mgr. She told us everything was in the process of getting fixed. The only thing fixed is the gate, Our front gate has 3 different color paints, & the painter never returned, Bldg needs so much work and for the amount of rent paid it there is NO excuse for the bldg looking sooo bad. Rusty railings, chipping paint, mailboxes need repair or replacement, but the owner doesnt live here, so as long as rent is on time, he doesnt care. It takes months for work orders to be filled. But the office staff will speak to you kindly and tell you it will all be taken care of...one problem though, if it is done at all, dont expect it to be done prior to waiting 2 , 3 months sometimes longer, and the condition of the exterior of our bldg, well one year later...we are still waiting. A year later, bldg still looks shabby, rent hasnt gone down though. Wish I just kept looking. Hope you do...keep looking elsewhere...not a Swami bldg, not if you care how the bldg you live in looks on the outside, dont do it!
