Company was hired to do a background check of ex employer. I provided information to the company. When company found out the Ex Company had outsourced the reference check refused to pay fee or contact me to see if I would pay the additional cost. When questioned company representative assumed reference would be non -negative even without finding out. When questioned about what was paid for representative gave me the sane information I provided to do reference check. Beware of company policies when faced with any additional charge you might need a more professional organization to do service.

Some companies use services such as TheWorkNumber.com. Former employees are allowed to call that service for free to see what information is being divulged. They would charge CheckMyReference.com a fee to get the same information. We would have to pass that fee along to the customer. Why pay CheckMyReference to call TheWorkNumber.com when you can call for free. We also offer clients the option of having us call someone else for no additional fee.
