I was contacted by Commercial Property Partners LLC, claiming they had a buyer for my timeshare. I'm rather sceptical because I tried unloading this timeshare last year and could not even donate it. They want over $1500 up front deposit that they say is needed to cover their costs to do a clear title search, etc.
Anyone have a similar experience with this company? Care to share the outcome?

I just talked with Steven Drake of "Commercial Property Partners LLC" he said that he had a buyer for our timeshare for $10,850.00 but wanted $1527.00 from me as required by the fiance company to make sure the tital was free and clear etc. After talking with my wife we decided if "it sounds to goog to be true it probley isn't" so we turned him down. I read somewhere to never give your money to someone to sell your timeshare. That is where we stand for now.

We posted a lengthy piece on timeshares January 28th on our Facebook page. The title was "Selling Your Timeshare: Important Things To Know"

I had to go through the same thing. They took my deposit and then I got some contracts, signed them and sent em back. After some time I received more paperwork and again signed and returned. 3 weeks later I did get a check for the exact amount as agreed in the contract. They called me several times throughout also which was nice. I was skeptical but so busy I didn't have time to keep up with the process. I sold it for way less than what I paid but still happy to be rid of it. The resort I had never lived up to all it's promises.

This company is a total scam. I got a second call from them (different sales person) and got their number from Call ID and the recordings say"sorry we are out of business. This was 2 minutes after the sales call

I was contacted today, and told them I would investigate them first. The salesperson told me all their information, and suggested I check out the BBB site, that they had an "A" rating. Well, in fact, they have a "D-" rating. The only reason anyone would sell a timeshare or pay someone to take it off their hands is that they no longer want to pay the Maintenance fees. Reality as the BBB says in their blog on Facebook is that I will never get anything close to what we paid for the Timeshare. Why is it that these "predators" are allowed to even be in business is my question?

Total scam do not use them. Time shares are useless, no one wants to buy them and they prey on the hopes that people can earn some money by selling them. They took nearly $2,000 from my mother and through some tough tactics and threats of the DA involvement they quickly returned the funds.

Do not offer them anything, tell them to list your unit and offer to pay them double at closing (which will not happen). In addition, the websites they run are pedestrian at best with low end technology, little information and no marketing.

Do not give them your hard earned money.

When searching the phone number (954) 742-4020 I get the following address for the company:
Home Solutions Realty, Inc.
4536 N. University Dr
Lauderhill, FL 33351

They have an A rating with the BBB of SE Florida and are NOT an Accredited Business. The full report can be accessed below:
http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/Business-Report/Home-Solutions-Realty-Inc-24000162

You may also want to search type of business or popular tags.

Hi bH,

Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any different contact information for this company. They currently have a D- rating with the West Palm Beach BBB, and if you check the BBB report by clicking "View BBB Report" above, it states that the BBB has been contacted by consumers who allege they were contacted by the Commercial Property Partners and were told they have a buyer for their timeshare. Consumers report the timeshares are actually not sold and they are unable to receive a refund of funds they have paid. The company responds to complaints by explaining they are currently unable to offer a refund because of problems with their phone system and suspension of their charging privileges. The company directs the consumer to request a chargeback through their credit card company.

I would suggest contacting your credit card company, if you paid by credit, ASAP. You should always be weary of a company who contacts you and asks for upfront fees or claims that they already have a buyer for your timeshare.
